Grid

Trays, raised beds, pots — one grid each

Every cell carries its own plan: sowing date, plant species, growth stage, photos. Tap a cell to see its history — when you sowed, when it germinated, when the first true leaves appeared. Stats at the top let you see at a glance what's planted, what's empty, what's harvested.

Reminders

Watering reminders that don't spam

One reminder per tray, not per cell. Plant six basils in the same tray and you'll get one "Water Hochbeet Balkon" notification on the right day — not six. Trays connected by a drip line share a single watering task across the whole group.

Germination, harvest, repot reminders come per cell — because those are cultivar-specific. Watering happens per bed — because that's how people actually water.

Overview

Multiple beds, one tap apart

Hochbeet on the balcony, a tomato pot on the window sill, a herb patch in the garden — all in one list, each with its own grid. Free covers one location; Pro adds as many as you need (e.g. garden + balcony + allotment).

Bed measurement

Snap a photo, drag four corner markers — instant rectangle. iPhone Pro with LiDAR? The app uses the depth sensor for ±1 cm precision. Older iPhones use ARKit feature points (±2 cm). No LiDAR? Photo + corner tap still works on every iPhone with the camera (±5 cm).

Verify-tap on the fourth corner catches dark-soil LiDAR errors before they end up in your bed plan.

Local climate data

Allow location once and the app reads your hardiness zone, frost-date window, and sun-hours. The "Plant this month" widget on Home then filters the plant catalog to species that actually thrive at your latitude. No location? Indoor-friendly plants (basil, microgreens, …) only.
